The curriculum focuses on food safety principles and quality assurance requirements as they apply to the food and beverage processing industry. An in-depth analysis of international food laws and regulations, as well as food chemistry and microbiology, food safety management systems, and sanitation, are key components of this program. The program provides a unique combination of academic and practical expertise, as well as a co-op/project term that allows students to integrate into a quality assurance management team.
